Openly Claim

God’s Promises

"For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us."

2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV)

Reading Bible

As a worship arts and media team, you help create spaces where people encounter God—through sound, visuals, storytelling, and atmosphere. But before we lead others into His presence, we must personally stand on His promises.

The Bible contains thousands of promises from God—reminders of who He is and what He gives to His people. These promises are not just words to admire; they are truths to claim.

Bible promises us:

  • In 2 Timothy 1:7, we are given a spirit of power, love, and self-control—not fear.

  • In Psalm 56 3, when fear comes, we can choose trust.

  • In Isaiah 12:2, God Himself is our salvation—so we don’t need to be afraid.

  • In Psalm 23 4, even in dark valleys, God is with us.

  • In Hebrews 13:6, we can confidently say: the Lord is our helper.

In WAM ministry, fear can show up in many ways—fear of failure, comparison, criticism, or not being “good enough.” But God’s promises speak louder than those fears. Openly claiming His promises means declaring them over your life, your team, and your work. It means starting and ending your day anchored in truth—not emotions.

Imagine what would happen if every rehearsal, every edit, every design began with this confidence: God is with us! We do not need to fear.

Take time each morning and night to speak His promises out loud. Let them shape your mindset, your creativity, and your worship.

PRAYER:

"Lord, Thank You for Your promises that never fail. When fear tries to take over, remind us that You have given us power, love, and a sound mind.
Help us to trust You in every moment—on stage, behind the scenes, and in the quiet places. Teach us to boldly declare Your truth over our lives and our work. May everything we create reflect confidence in who You are. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

REFLECTION QUESTIONS:

  1. What fears tend to affect you most in your creative or ministry role?

  2. Which of God’s promises do you need to personally claim today?

  3. How can you build a daily habit of declaring God’s Word (morning and night)?

  4. In what ways can your team encourage one another to stand on God’s promises?
